Recently, the University of Seoul (UOS) has a positive interest in global education and establishes new curriculums in connection with global education. With the new curriculums, many students can have chances to get an easy access to foreign languages.

Through College English 1 and 2, the students can improve their conversation ability. Also, the High-Intermediate English Conversation classes, can set global mind to students and lead a continuous concern about English.

So far it has been proved to be a very helpful lesson to the students. Moreover, the UOS established the classes with different levels of French, German, Chinese, and Japanese. Thus students could learn a variety of second languages in different levels too.

Moreover, in some colleges, professors deliver lectures in English which narrow the gap between lectures in the UOS and those in foreign universities. As a result of these efforts, the UOSians can improve their skills in the foreign languages as time goes by.

Not only the curriculums but also the special lessons and innovative systems help to make the UOS into the Global Campus. The UOS also invites foreign students during the summer vacation for the global education and international exchange.

The school tries hard to form a global campus through the Academic Exchange program. The UOS’s Global Leadership Program (GLP) has been very practical. So, the UOS can take a higher position when competing with other universities.

By introducing the Graduation Certification System (GCS) which requires students to prepare for the future and the upcoming more globalize world, the UOS can take one more step toward the Global Campus.

And many students are trying to have a competitive power. For example, the voluntary service abroad, the GLP helps the student to have a Global Mind. The UOS constantly invests and puts much endeavor to the students, and the students participate in university’s system and persevere in their efforts
