It is very embarrassing to say, but last edition of The UOS Times was the first one I had ever read. At first, I was surprised at seeing all the words and sentences written only in English. Actually, I had a prejudice that it could be quite boring and difficult. So I was a little afraid to start reading.

While reading each and every article, however, I was surprised to notice that I was getting more and more interested in the topics. The UOS Times is rich in contents and contains lots of good and useful information about things we usually know about, but are not fully familiar with. For example, it helps us to learn about foreign cultures and makes us think about the environment, which has become a very important source of interest nowadays.

The choice of subjects is also very good. The articles deal with hot issues, and they can make people take a closer look at things. To improve The UOS Times even more, it would be good to have more and more readers.

For students who are not familiar with English, it is important to grab their interest, but not just by using fun. In this respect, The UOS Times has a good approach because the articles of The UOS Times deal with issues that perhaps students are not always far-sighted enough to think for themselves, being beyond their personal interests. This has been a very nice opportunity for me to read The UOS Times and write down my thoughts about it.
