Cho Hee-jung
I’m Cho hee-jung and I helped Chinese students. Last year I lived in China for 6 months and Chinese friends helped me a lot. If they had not helped me, I would have had a hard time because of my poor Chinese and having to adapt to new circumstances. They did lots of things for me. I was so sorry that I could not pay them back so I thought this was a good chance to help the Chinese.
The International Summer School was also good for me. It was a great opportunity to think about Seoul and Korea. I thought about Seoul through international peoples eyes, so it was very hard to ignore the dirty streets and trash.
Even though we hosted the 2002 Worldcup successfully, I think there are many things that still need to be fixed. I want to have another chance to make friends internationally. Now I can think about Korea in a new light!

-About the lectures
All of the lectures were very interesting and useful. I especially liked the Korean language class. Everything was done from the heart so that everyone could relate to it.
-About the homestay
I was so impressed with your kind hospitality. I was very grateful to our partners who were with us, took such care of, helped us and answered all our questions about Korea and other things.
-About the meals
Korean food is unusual for me, but I like it very much. It is very delicious, in spite of its strong spices. I enjoyed the breakfasts very much. Thank you.
-About the field trips
I was so excited with the program that was offered to us. It was really amazing and exciting. We had a lot of good times and our trips around Seoul were great.
